SAMPO - ROSENLEW #2

Rosenlewin Porin konepajalla valmistettiin ensimmäinen prosessorityyppinen puunkorjuun monitoimikone jo 1967.

                               Sampo Rosenlew HR46

Sampo-Rosenlew Oy:n valmistamat harvesterit soveltuvat erityisen hyvin harvennushakkuisiin.
Ne ovat kustannustehokkaita ja teknisesti kestäviä.

Rakenne on moderni, mutta yksinkertainen. Sampo-Rosenlew 1046 on kehitetty nuorten metsien ensiharvennuksen  olosuhteisiin mutta sen rakenne mahdollistaa hieman järeämpienkin runkojen käsittelyn.
Isoveli Sampo-Rosenlew 1066 on varttuneiden metsien harvennuksen tehonyrkki.

Painopisteen sijaitessa alhaalla, tulee koneen omapainoa kasvattamalla 1066 vakaa tukkien käsittelijä. SR1066 harvesteriin on saatavilla mm. hytin automaattisesti ohjautuva vakautusjärjestelmällä, joka pitää hytin tasapainossa koneen kallistuessa.

Nuori ja tiheäkasvuinen metsä on harventajan toimintaympäristö. Sampo-Rosenlew harvesterin suunnittelussa etusijalla on koneen soveltuvuus harvennustyöhön.

Sampo-Rosenlew on vastannut asiakaskunnan kysyntään suunnittelemalla harvennuksille sopivan kuormatraktorin FR28. Tämä 10 tonnin kuorman kantava ajokone on suunniteltu toimimaan yhtiön harvestereita täydentävänä yksikkönä. Pieni omapaino ja suuri rungon kääntökulma tekevät FR28:sta ketterän ajokoneen, jolla puutavara liikkuu tehokaasti leimikolta tien varteen.

Asiakkaiden toivomuksesta, tuoteperheen uutukainen, kuormatraktori FR28 näki päivänvalon Metkossa 2012. Sarjatuotantoon FR28 tulee vuoden 2013 aikana.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sampo-Rosenlew started serial production of forest machines in 1997. The focus was initially on the SR1046 model designed for first thinning. In 2005, the product portfolio was expanded to include the semi-heavy duty SR1066 harvester.

Designed for intermediate thinning, the machine also performs well in final cutting. As a response to customer requirements, the latest arrival in the product family, the FR28 forwarder, was launched at the 2012 Metko forest machine fair. The FR28 will be in production by the end of 2013. To date, nearly 500 SR harvester units have been manufactured, including 400 smaller models and over 70 heavy duty models. The Sampo-Rosenlew harvester will be ready in winter 2013.

Sampo-Rosenlew's forest machines feature proprietary design from start to finish. Our ethos is to offer our customers a high-quality product that is designed for their requirements, with attributes and a cost structure that facilitate profitable harvesting and thinning operations.

CHASSIS
The FR28 forwarder is mainly used in young sections of forest kept rather dense.
This requires that the forwarder, too, is of suitable size. The small dimensions together with articulated steering that turns 45 degrees make the FR28 forwarder very maneuverable. The bottom is even and flat also below the engine. The spacious lower chassis allows the use of 900 mm tracks. The loading space length may alter between 4.0 and 4.6 metres.

ENGINE
As the source of power we use a 3A phase 49AWI common rail diesel manufactured by the Agco Power company in Finland with decades of experience.
Minimal fuel consumption together with long service intervals guarantee that this low-emission engine is inexpensive to use.
This diesel provides 107 kW and 600 Nm (1500 rpm) torque.

DRIVE TRANSMISSION
The FR28 forwarder is equipped with hydrostatic-mechanical transmission. The drive pump runs a mechanical gearbox through a hydraulic pump. The transmission axles then divide the traction force to the front and rear bogies. The traction can be locked between the front and rear as well as between the left and right side of each bogie.
The total traction force of the bogie axles is 13 tons.

CAB
The Sampo Rosenlew factory also manufactures the spacious, silent cab which helps the operator to work efficiently. The cab meets the official safety standards and is specially designed to be used in dense thinning forest when the remaining trees must be left unharmed. The cab features many details that make it easier for the operator to work and feel more comfortable. There is, for example, a refrigerated lunchbox and a switch to open the engine hood with an electric motor.

CRANE

The FR28 forwarder has a 10-metre reach crane specially designed for thinning operations. The low construction of the crane improves the sideways stability and visibility. As standard there is also a weighing scale, not only to control harvesting but also to prevent harmful overloading.

    1. Good morning Thierry.
      Thanks.
These machines are relatively new entrants into the forest machine market.
Maybe does not belong among the most popular group
      Include John Deere group.

  4. Finnish origin forest machines are also manufactured in France.
Again, these machines today include JohnDeer group.
Almost all the Swedish and Finnish forest machinery is today, either JD or Komatsu syndicate. All is the result of the general globalization of which I think is a bad thing.
